Daniel Emilio Norero González

Daniel Norero serves as a consultant in scientific communication at agricultural biotechnology and food-tech institutions, and also works as an external columnist in the Chilean media "El Definido." He has studied biochemistry at the Catholic University of Chile and has worked as a laboratory assistant in plant sciences. Currently, he is studying digital marketing and social media management at the same university.

He founded the initiative "Yo Quiero transgénicos" (I Do Want GMOs), a citizen project that aims to demystify and inform about GMOs, with special emphasis on biotech crops in Latin America. Additionally, he has collaborated with columns published by LatinAmericanScience, Cornell Alliance for Science, Genetic Literacy Project, Biofortified, CSICOP and the Chilean Skeptical Association.
