Isabellah Leone Mrema

Isabellah L. Mrema is a Research Officer for the Zonal Information Extension Liaison Unit (ZIELU) at the Agricultural Research Development Institute in Tanzania. She previously worked as a Soil Laboratory Technician with the Natural Resource and Land Management program in the Lake Zone Agricultural Research Development Institute (LZARDI), where she helped train farmers in agricultural technologies related to soil fertility management and root and tuber cultivation. Her primary interest is using agricultural science to empower farmers to improve food security. She holds a bachelor’s degree in applied agriculture and extension from the Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) and attended the 2016 Cornell Alliance for Science Africa Leadership Training Course in Mwanza, Tanzania.”
