Nega Berhane Tessemma

Nega Tessemma chairs the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Gondar in Ethiopia, where he teaches under- and post-graduate courses in molecular biology, environmental biotechnology, and agricultural biotechnology. He and his colleagues have been active in a community service project aimed at mobilizing citizens to reduce human-wildlife conflicts in the Semien Mountains National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site threatened by agriculture and pasturing activities.”
