Talha Masror

Talha Zubair Masror is the agriculture officer of southwest Bangladeshi’s Chuadanga Sadar Upazila, working under the Ministry of Agriculture.

He has introduced a new approach of agricultural extension called “Krishi Bioscope” which has proven to be very popular in Bangladesh. Through this program, modern agricultural knowledge is shared among farmers and interest groups through social media and short video documentaries highlighting successful farmers, potential technologies and modern advancement in science.

Talha has a master’s degree in horticultural science from Bangladesh Agriculture University. He believes that farmers, agricultural scientists and extension workers have played a key role in helping Bangladesh become self-sufficient in food production.
